Problem
A 170-year-old bank competing with fintech apps that talk like actual people. Every screen read like a legal disclaimer. The Intuitive Investor platform had been rebuilt from the ground up. What it needed was language that matched the ambition.
Solution
Rewrote onboarding flows, investment goal screens, risk tolerance language, and confirmation states. Worked in Figma alongside designers, product managers, and legal to soften the language without losing accuracy.
The principle: if a person you respect wouldn't say it at dinner, we shouldn't say it in the app. I'm not a lawyer, financial advisor, or product owner. So I had help. And yeah, there were compromises.
Result
And that was just day one.
